Dragons Knoll

A handcrafted mountain dwelling with storybook details, a fireplace, and stunning Blue Ridge scenery.

The Dwelling

A storybook nook in the mountain.

Dragons Knoll is tucked into the mountainside behind a hand-carved round Tree of Life door. Beyond it, stacked stone, a fireplace with a soft glow, and a beautifully centered bed create a direct sightline back through the entrance toward the mountains.

It is the place couples pick when they want a weekend that feels like a story.

The setting feels removed from the bustle and noise, yet Asheville is still close enough for dinner, music, and a day in town. In the morning, fog settles below the ridge before the view opens again.

The Story

Craft, quiet, and one watchful dragon

The hand-built details are the point here: carved wood, stacked stone, the dragon sculpture, and a 150-year-old architectural element set into the design.

Spend the evening by the private fire pit, then return to the fireplace and the centered bed inside. The craftsmanship and mountain setting give the room all the character it needs.
