The short version

What we collect

When you use our trip-planner or contact us, you may share:

• Your name and email — so we can send your itinerary and reach you about your stay.
• Trip details — who's coming, your pace, the occasion, and any care needs you tell us (mobility, sober-friendly, allergies, budget, kids, pets).

You choose what to share. Leaving a field blank still works — the planner is built to be gentle.

How we use it

• To build your personalized Asheville itinerary and honor any care needs you noted.
• To notify us (the owners) that you've reached out, so we can welcome you well.
• That's it. We don't use your details for advertising, and we don't sell or rent them to anyone.

The AI that helps write your plan

Your trip-planner is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. The details you enter are sent securely to generate your itinerary and are not used to train AI models. If the AI is ever unavailable, the planner still builds your itinerary on its own — you always get a plan.

Booking & payments

When you book, you're taken directly to ThinkReservations, our booking system. Any payment details you enter there are handled by ThinkReservations and its payment processor under their own privacy and security terms — we never see or store your card information on this site.

Website analytics

We use cookieless, privacy-first analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they find us. It does not track you across other websites, does not build a profile of you, and does not require a cookie banner.

How long we keep it & your choices

• Your finished itinerary lives temporarily in our private Vercel data store behind both a long, unguessable link and a separate six-digit access code. The emailed button, saved link, and QR code all lead to that same locked itinerary.
• When you provide stay dates, we keep the itinerary through checkout and for 24 hours afterward. Without usable stay dates, it clears after 14 days.
• You can ask us to see or delete anything you've shared — just email us.

A note on the itinerary suggestions (Terms)

The restaurants, trails, and attractions your itinerary suggests are independent businesses, not affiliated with Earth & Sky Dwellings. Hours, prices, and availability change — please confirm directly with each place before you go. Your itinerary is a warm suggestion, offered in good faith, not a guarantee.
